Biomechanics, Design, and Inclusion: A Conversation at the Museum

On 28 November 2024, the event “Biomechanics, Design, and Inclusion: A Conversation at the Museum” took place at the Pauls Stradiņš Museum of the History of Medicine. The event also featured our project participant Māra Grīnfelde, who offered a theoretical perspective on the formation of human bodily identity, explaining how technological assistive devices become integrated parts of the body and identity, and why we can come to perceive them as parts of our own bodies.
