During the Fall Semester of 2023 Vēgners and Grīnfelde will implement a course for the University of Latvia Master’s degree Philosophy students called 'Phenomenological Approach in the Research of Humanities and Social Sciences', the aim of which will be to introduce students with the concepts of the phenomenological philosophy and methods based on the phenomenological philosophy with a purpose of carrying out interdisciplinary research.
From August 23rd to 26th, 2023, in Riga, Latvia, an international scientific conference '35th European Conference on Philosophy of Medicine and Health Care: Methods in Bioethics and Philosophy of Medicine' will take place. During this conference, project participants Uldis Vēgners, Māra Grīnfelde, and Andrejs Balodis will read their presentations.
From August 22nd to 23rd, 2023, in Riga, Latvia, an international scientific conference 'Nordic-Baltic Network of Philosophy of Medicine Annual Workshop: Issues in Bioethics and Philosophy of Medicine' will take place. During this conference, the project researchers Uldis Vēgners, Māra Grīnfelde, and Andrejs Balodis will participate with a presentation.
From 14 to 18 August 2023 our student participant Tomass Stepiņš participated in the Copenhagen Summer School in Phenomenology and Philosophy of Mind, taking place at the University of Copenhagen Center for Subjectivity Research (Copenhagen, Norway).
We have successfully completed the second phase of the project, during which we conducted a phenomenological analysis of the collected data, and have commenced the third and final phase of the project. In this phase, our team has also been joined by Māra Grīnfelde, a leading researcher from the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the University of Latvia.

Our project member Andrejs Balodis participated in the Horizon Europe Health & SSH Brokerage event, which took place 5 June 2023 in Paris, France, dedicated to Horizon Europe HEALTH calls for proposals 2024 where the involvement of partners with specific expertise in SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES (SSH) is of major importance.
From 20 to 21 April 2023 our student participant Marija Semjonova-Reinholde participated in the AdHoc1 symposium 'Genealogy of Normalcy and Experienced Ambiguity', organised by the Nordic Summer University and hosted by the University of Latvia (Riga, Latvia).
On 30 March, 2023, our project team members Uldis Vēgners and Andrejs Balodis participated with presentations at the international conference 'RSU Research Week 2023: University Teaching and Learning', organised by the Rīga Stradiņš University.
On 29 March, 2023, all our team members participated with presentations in the section 'Phenomenology of the Body in the Context of Interdisciplinary Research' at the 81st International Scientific Conference of the University of Latvia 2023.

During the conference Uldis Vēgners gave a presentation 'Hesitant Bodies: Phenomenological Analysis of the Embodied Experience of Covid-19 Vaccine Hesitancy'.
Our team member Uldis Vēgners participated at the international scientific conference 'Vaccines and Vaccination During and Post Covid Pandemics', organised by Rīga Stradiņš University (Riga, Latvia) from 7 to 9 December, 2022, online. On 29 and 30 November 2022 project team members Uldis Vēgners and Andrejs Balodis participated at an online course 'Managing Challenging Interviews – Online', organised by the Social Research Association (UK).
Our team member Maija Kūle participated at the 66th International Congress of Phenomenology 'Eco-Imagination for a Sustainable Future', organised by the World Phenomenology Institute and IULM University (Milan, Italy) from 27 to 29 October, 2022, in Milan (Italy). Maija Kūle was one of the members of scientific committee, chaired a session 'Ecology', and gave a plenary lecture 'Development of Eco-phenomenology as the Philosophy of Imaginatio Creatrix'.
Our team member Uldis Vēgners participated at the 7th Annual Conference of the Central and East European Society for Phenomenology 'Phenomenology and the Sciences', organised by the Central and East European Society for Phenomenology and the University of Padua (Padua, Italy) from 13 to 15 September, 2022, in Padua (Italy). During the conference Uldis Vēgners gave an online presentation 'Phenomenology of public health sciences? A case of vaccine hesitancy'.
We have initiated the second phase of the project in which we will analyse the data acquired in the first phase.
In the Spring semester of 2022 our team member Tomass Stepiņš took part at the study course 'Qualitative Research Methods in Nursing Studies' at the University of Latvia.
